VOLKSWAGEN RACING TO KICK OFF 2016 IN STYLE AT AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL

One of the highlights of this year’s stand will be the unveiling of a brand new RacingLine livery which will adorn a Golf 7R that is sure to turn heads throughout the show.

Under the surface of the stunning machine things get even more interesting. This Golf R packs more than just a visual punch, boasting Volkswagen Racing’s finest performance upgrades. The most sophisticated air intake on the market, the R600; the ultimate specification road-suspension system, the TrackSport Suspension kit; and a VWR/Milltek exhaust system ensure that this car is has the performance to match its enviable looks.

Many more of Volkswagen Racing’s technological and performance tweaks will be on display. This will include its critically acclaimed Monoblock Big Brake Upgrade which gives fully-floating technology at an economical price, and its ever-popular Sport Springs which strike the perfect balance of improving handling and appearance without compromising comfort.

The plethora of performance upgrades will also be complimented by a showcase of the stylish Volkswagen Racing Teamwear and Accessories range.

The 2016 season of Volkswagen Racing Cup promises to be even more exciting than the last, continuing to deliver exceptional value for drivers, fans and sponsors. Changes in the regulations are going to ensure even closer racing and promise to shake up the order as drivers get to grips with their machines. It means that as we wait for the lights to go out on the grid at the season opener, there is even more unbridled anticipation than usual.

Visitors to the show can get up close and personal with a formidable pair of Volkswagen Racing Cup cars on the Milltek Sport and MRF stands (2550 & 8540).

Volkswagen Racing and championship personnel will be on hand throughout the show’s four days to discuss the forthcoming season, technical and sporting regulations, as well as to offer car and technical advice to established and prospective competitors.
