The Importance of Inventory Logistics Jameco Electronics Releases New Electronic Components Catalog

Jameco Electronics released its latest electronic components catalog targeting small businesses and electronics hobbyists alike. The cover depicts the Port of Oakland and highlights the challenges of supply logistics including the recent West Coast labor dispute.

"I think we all got a lesson earlier this year about how difficult importing products can be to managing a steady supply. Jameco saw the early warning signs, increased its purchases and as a result, our customers came out relatively unscathed," said Greg Harris, VP of Sales and Marketing. "There's nothing easy about managing inventory but we've become quite adept at using our network of over 500 suppliers from around the world," said Harris.

The new catalog's highlights include new Peltier Thermoelectric Coolers, Raspberry Pi 2 Model B, new AC-to-DC Switching Table Top Power Supplies from Mean Well and a puzzler from renowned electronics author Forrest M. Mims III
