TFT LCD line-up ideal for Personal Audio Visual applications

Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas (Camas, WA) announced two additions to its small TFT LCD module line-up. The two CGS (Continuous Grain-Silicon) LCDs include a 1.6-inch Class (1.56-inch diagonal) Transflective Color LCD for wearable technology and a 2.95-inch (diagonal) SVGA+ LCD. The new displays, perfect for personal audio visual (PAV) applications. Features include:

? 10% reflection ratio, resolution of 180 ×RGB ×180 in color mode, and an 800:1 contrast ratio for the 1.6-inch Class LS016B8YUxx.
? 366 ppi (pixels per inch) quality, a high brightness of 600 nits (typical), and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 (typical) for the 2.95-inch LS030B3DXxx.
