Screw-terminal caps have 500-Vdc ratings

NSTL series large-can screw-terminal-format aluminum electrolytic capacitors are rated for 500 Vdc. Each device has high-ripple-current ratings and load life ratings of 5,000 hours, so one can replace two 250-Vdc capacitors (and balancing resistors) in input circuits of ac power supplies.

Specifications include capacitance values from 1,200 to 12,000 µF, diameters from 51 to 90 mm, and component lengths from 98 to 241 mm. The screw terminals are pitched 21.8, 28.2. and 31.4 mm, depending upon component diameter. (Contact company for price and availability.)
