Rugged pocket logger records extreme temps

The EL-USB-1-PRO USB pocket datalogger can measure temperature from –40° to 125°C and record over 32,000 readings. Housed in a waterproof, stainless-steel housing, the unit is rated to IP67 / NEMA 4X standards for harsh environments.

The logger comes with a replaceable 2/3AA lithium battery that allows logging for up to three years, as well as with EasyLog PC-compatible configuration and data-download software. The software lets users choose a logger name, set a sample rate, program high and low alarms, and select immediate or delayed logging start. Recorded data can be downloaded and graphed, printed, or exported to spreadsheet applications. ($150 — available now.)
