Rugged CAN xceiver IC is fully isolated

The IsoLoop IL41050TTA isolated CAN transceiver operates at up to 1 Mbit/s, is fully compliant with the ISO 11898 CAN standard, and has a -55° to 125°C operating range. Bus-side dynamic supply current (dominant) is 70 mA maximum and quiescent supply current (recessive) is 12 mA maximum.

The chip features transmit data dominant time-out, thermal shutdown protection, short-circuit protection, 2.5 kV isolation, typical transient immunity of 30 kV/µs, bus pin transient protection, and a human body model ESD rating of 4 kV. Supply voltage is 3.0 to 5.5 V. ($2.33 ea/1,000 - narrow-body version available now, wide-body Aug.)
