Preform jumpers suitable for reverse mounting

To accommodate reverse mounting on the circuit board for specific design requirements and optimum use of board real estate, Components Corporation (Denville, NJ) offers the FJ-Series of preform jumpers in a variety of package sizes.  The FJ-Series is a flat wireform that eliminates the need for zero ohm resistors or other even less acceptable substitutions, offering stability, strength, and reliability when mounted. The FJ-Series is the first true series of printed circuit board jumpers developed specifically for SMT applications. Other features include:

• A .060 X .030 package size for the FJ-0603 with a .15 thickness, while the smaller FJ-0402 offers a .040 X .020 size with a .015 thickness.
• Compatibility with automated placement and soldering equipment, delivered on 7" (1000 piece) tape and reel.
• C”110 copper flat wire with a .0001 matte tin over .0005 nickel finish and meets the ANSI/EIA-481 standard.
• Maximum current of 2.0 amperes.
