PCIe connectors offer up to 32 serial lanes

Suited for dense packaging, board-to-board applications, the 1.00-mm pitch, one-piece PCIe card edge connectors feature slots that accept 1.58-mm thick daughtercards. The connectors are offered with 36 (x1), 64 (x4), 98 (x8), 16 (x16), 230 (x24), and 280 (x32) contact positions in right-angle, surface-mount, and card extender versions.

Serial lanes are composed of two wire pairs that support a 500-Mbit/s data transfer rate per lane in each direction, a 2.5-GHz clock rate, and a 5-GT/s bit rate. The connectors offer a current rating of 1.1 A per contact, an operating temperature range of –55° to 105°C, and a processing temperature of up to 260°C peak for 10 s max.
