The Ohmite TAP2000 Series Heat Sinkable Planar Resistors deliver 2000W of continuous power when properly mounted to a liquid cooled heat sink (based on 85oC mounting plate temperature). The TAP2000 Series features a high energy rating, low inductance, a resistor element that is electrically isolated, high dielectric strength, and a small footprint. Applications for the Ohmite TAP2000 Heat Sinkable Planar 2000W Resistors are power conditioning, power distribution, power conversion, power control, power semiconductor balancing, motor control, and inrush current limiting.
