New Suite of 7.0-inch Industrial LCD Panels Provide Flexible Design Options

Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas (SMA) has introduced new LCD display modules in its Industrial Application (IA) TFT LCD line-up in the popular 7.0-inch (diagonal) size class. The company’s new 7.0-inch class industrial LCD products include an out-of-the-box, high-performance IA product and a “Value IA” LCD panel for cost-sensitive applications, plus ability to add-on PCAP touch, high brightness, and other features. The 7.0-inch LQ070Y3LG05 Value IA LCD

The 7.0-inch (diagonal) LQ070Y3LG05 Value IA LCD provides many key industrial display characteristics at a price point optimized for budget-sensitive projects. These include durable construction, wide viewing angles, wide operating temperatures, and excellent viewability. An on-board LED driver helps reduce design time and eliminates the need to purchase an LED driver separately. This LVDS module is also an ideal building block for PCAP touch and other add-on solutions.

The 7.0-inch LQ070Y3LG02 IA LCD

This 7.0-inch (diagonal) LQ070Y3LG02 WVGA LCD delivers on Sharp’s standard industrial display performance characteristics (see above paragraph), but boasts an even further extended operating temperature range of -30° to +80°C. 750 nits of brightness deliver crisp visuals in high ambient light. The display features an LVDS interface and provides an ideal building block for PCAP touch and other add-on solutions.
