Metal foil current sense resistors offer 1 percent tolerances

Stackpole's (Raleigh, NC) CSNL Series uses metal foil technology, which allows it to offer 1 percent tolerances and 50 ppm TCR in resistance values down to 0.5 milliohms. The series is appropriate for a variety of power control and power management applications in products ranging from low to high volume consumer electronics, and a range of portable electronic devices. The CSNL Series features:

• Desirable performance over life, temperature cycling, and moisture.
• Short time overload with typical resistance shifts less than 0.5 percent.
• Sizes of ½ Watt 1206, 1 Watt 2010, and 2 Watt 2512.
