Laser checks different parts fast, accurately

Featuring a 1024-pixel CMOS linear imager that normally achieves up to a 1-μm resolution, the L-GAGE LH Series laser sensor can make precision displacement and thickness measurements for in-line inspection of parts made of a broad variety of soft, sticky, or reflective materials, such as wood, metal, rubber, ceramic, or plastic.

Two sensors can be configured to self-synchronize and perform thickness calculations internally, without an external controller during operation.
