Junction box maximizes solar collector space

Designed for use with single-diode, double-ribbon photovoltaic panels, the PVB-101 junction box features a low profile that maximizes usable collector space. Low-insertion-force connectors make panel connections easy and less costly, letting panels be installed without soldering.

Said to be the highest-performance product of its kind on the market, the case has a large opening for conductor ribbons and built-in cable strain relief. The unit’s internal volume and venting permit good thermal dissipation and operation in low interim temperatures, and the product has an ambient temperature range of –40° to 105°C.
