Isolated converters feature 92% efficiency

The MG series isolated dc/dc converters feature 15- and 30-W output power with up to 92% efficiency. The converters are 30% to 40% smaller than the previous generation and offer six-sided shielding.

The isolated dc/dc converters feature inputs from 9 to 18 Vdc and 18 to 36 Vdc. The output voltages are 3.3, 5, 12, and 15 Vdc. They have an operating temperature of −40° to 85°C, and input to output isolation of 1,500 Vdc for 1 min at 10-mA cutoff current. The converters meet UL60950-1, C-UL (CSA60950-1), and EN60950 safety standards.
