Illuminated pushbutton switches offer RGB color options

E-Switch announced its LP6 Series LED illuminated pushbutton switch includes a color option. The switch is available with either SPST or DPST circuit options, and it is a momentary switch. It offers a 15-mm square sculptured cap with LED color options that now include RGB. The applications and markets for this switch include consumer electronics, medical devices, audio/visual, instrumentation, vending machines, and kiosks. Specifications for the LP6 series illuminated pushbutton switch include contact rating of 12 mA, 12 VDC; contact resistance of 50 mΩ Max (initial); insulation resistance of 100 MΩ Min. at 500 VDC; dielectric Strength of 500 VAC; 200,000 cycles of electrical and mechanical life; operating and storage temperature range of -20°C to 70°C; and travel of 2.20 mm.
