Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM), has introduced the new Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 710 Mobile Platform, built on 10nm process technology. The new Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 710 Mobile Platform is more powerful than the Snapdragon 660 SoC but less powerful than the top Snapdragon 845 processor.
This is the first of a series of new Snapdragon 700 mobile platforms launched by Qualcomm at the mobile world congress in February 2018.The new Snapdragon series is designed to provide features and capabilities previously reserved for the advanced Snapdragon 800 series.Snapdragon 710 is the first mobile platform in the new 700-tier product portfolio.According to previous reports, xiaomi could use the processor in two of its upcoming smartphones.Snapdragon 710 is currently available for qualcomm customers, such as mobile manufacturers and other device makers, and is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2018.
