High Frequency VCXO for Small-Cell Systems

 CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS), through its subsidiary, CTS Electronic Components, Inc. announces the development of a high frequency VCXO for small cell applications in two package sizes and output types. This device, along with other new CTS products, will be on display at International Microwave Symposium (IMS) in Phoenix, Arizona at booth #2930 on May 19 – 21, 2015.

Small-cell applications, such as Femto-cells, have limited board space and demand high performance frequency control products. CTS new VCXO is the perfect solution; saving space and delivering excellent performance. Available in a 7.0 x 5.0 mm or 5.0 x 3.2 mm surface mount package, the device offers HCMOS or LVPECL output. Its high frequency fundamental crystal design provides frequencies between 100 – 250 MHz and typical jitter performance as low as 0.5ps (HCMOS) and 0.2ps (LVPECL). Standard frequencies available; 122.88MHz, 100MHz, 125MHz, 156.25MHz (other frequencies available upon request). The product is also fully RoHS 6/6 compliant.
