FEM operates in both WLAN, Bluetooth mode

Suited for concurrent WLAN and Bluetooth operation and direct-to-battery connection, the SE2579U front-end-module (FEM) is a complete 802.11 b/g/n 2.4-GHz WLAN RF device with a Bluetooth port in a 3 x 3 x 0.5-mm package. The device provides all the functionality of the power amplifier, filter, switch, LNA, 2,170-MHz notch filtering, and associated matching.

The device also includes a power detector with 20 dB of dynamic range and a digital enable control for transmitter power ramp on/off control. It comes in a halogen-free ROHS-compliant MSL1 package. ($0.95 ea/100,000 — available now.)
