Customer Use Board System provides for evaluation and validation of ArcticLink III VX and BX devices

QuickLogic Corporation announced the development of the Customer Use Board (CUB) System, which provides for easy evaluation and validation of ArcticLink III VX and BX devices in customer platforms. CUB is an ideal solution for smartphone and tablet system architects who require easy prototyping and testing platforms to accelerate their design efforts.

The CUB system supports all silicon variants of the ArcticLink III VX and BX families, which include RGB or MIPI-DSI inputs, and RGB, MIPI-DSI, and/or LVDS outputs. The CUB system allows designers to easily insert known-good boards into their prototype systems. Once the CUB system is integrated into the display path, designers can evaluate the Visual Enhancement Engine’s (VEE’s) impact and measure the Display Power Optimizer’s (DPO’s) power savings.

The CUB system design enables the creation of quick-turn daughter cards for direct connection to processor boards or displays, connections may also be made through ‘blue-wiring’ to provided connector points. The boards feature a 100% open-design approach, providing developers with a proven starting point for production board design.

The QuickLogic’s CUB is available today.  For additional information, please go to http://www.quicklogic.com/reference-designs/cub-system/

QuickLogic is a fabless semiconductor company that develops low power, multi-core semiconductor platforms and Intellectual Property (IP) for Artificial Intelligence (AI), voice and sensor processing. The solutions include embedded FPGA IP (eFPGA) for hardware acceleration and pre-processing, and heterogeneous multi-core SoCs that integrate eFPGA with other processors and peripherals. The Analytics Toolkit from QuickLogic's recently acquired wholly-owned subsidiary, SensiML Corporation, completes the end-to-end solution with accurate sensor algorithms using AI technology. The full range of platforms, software tools and eFPGA IP enables the practical and efficient adoption of AI, voice and sensor processing across mobile, wearable, hearable, consumer, industrial, edge and endpoint IoT.
