CSRF0612 Surface Mount Resistors feature terminations on long side.

Stackpole has expanded the value range of its CSRF0612 surface mount resistors. The 0612 size features terminations on the long side of the part for improved power handling, heat dissipation, and lower resistance values. The CSRF0612 handles 1.5 watts versus the equivalently sized 1206 chip that is only rated at 1 watt. This lower resistance capability combined with the outstanding low TCR allows engineers to downsize designs using larger chip sizes without sacrificing power handling.

Pricing for the CSRF0612 ranges from $0.16 to $0.22 depending on tolerance and resistance value. The CSRF is also available in sizes from 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, 2010, 2512, 4320, and 2043.
