Cirrus Logic CS1501 / CS1601 Digital PFC Controllers

The Cirrus Logic CS1501 / CS1601 family of digital PFC controllers feature superior efficiency and THD (total harmonic distortion) performance across variable load conditions and enable smaller, simpler designs through a reduction in boost inductor size along with fewer required external components. These high-performance, active digital PFC controllers are Variable Frequency Discontinuous Mode (VF-DCM) ICs featuring Cirrus Logic's EXL Core? Technology that enables intelligent and adaptive switching that traditional analog PFC devices lack. The CS1501 / CS1601 operate at switching speeds up to 70kHz and the CS1601H operates up to 100kHz.
