Attenuator provides a linear attenuation slope versus control voltage

a temperature compensated voltage controlled attenuator. RFMD's RFSA2013 provides a linear attenuation slope versus control voltage with very little sensitivity to temperature changes. PIN diode designs suffer from large attenuation shifts over temperature. The RFMD RFSA2013's integrated temperature compensation overcomes this issue. Features include:

• Linearity which exceeds that of FET based designs.
• IIP3 linearity of the RFSA2013 of >50dBm.
• Superior class 1C ESD protection.
• Insertion loss of 2.6dB and attenuation range of 30dB.

RFMD is an American company that designs, develops and manufactures rf integrated circuit components. These products are used in radio frequency integrated circuit amplifiers (RFICs) and signal processing and transmission equipment for wireless communication. The company mainly produces spare parts for mobile phones. Currently, RFMD is the main supplier of power frequency amplifiers in the world. The company also manufactures spare parts for wireless infrastructure, cable TV modems, personal communication systems and two-way data pagers, and is committed to market base stations and local wireless local area networks (wlans).
