The Model 2450 SourceMeter SMU Instrument from Keithley (Cleveland, OH) includes a touchscreen graphical user interface and offers 5-inch, full-color touchscreen and icon-based menu structure allow for intuitive user interaction and speed test configuration by eliminating cumbersome multi-layer menus. Features include context-sensitive help (reducing users’ need to consult a manual), “Quickset” modes that speed instrument configuration (providing two-touch access to set-up screens), and on-screen graphing capabilities. Other features include:

· Onboard Test Script Processor (TSP) which embeds complete test programs into non-volatile memory to provide higher throughput by eliminating the PC communication traffic problems.
· A TSP-Link inter-unit communication bus which supports system expansion with multiple Model 2450s and other TSP-based instruments.
· Applications including characterizing modern scaled semiconductors, nanoscale devices and materials, organic semiconductors, printed electronics, and other small-geometry and low-power devices.
