MST6M40A Product Details
from 50Hz to 100Hz or 60Hz to 120Hz. The MST6M40A comprises LVDS/V-By-One receiver, film source detection
and inversion, motion frame rate conversion, color space conversion and management.
With Hs-LVDS technology, the MST6M40A can support up to 4-channel input video source which can support up
to QFHD 30Hz. It can also support up to 1-channel input OSD source which can support up to QFHD 15Hz.With 10-lane V-By-One technology, the MST6M40A can support up to 8-lane input video source which can support
up to QFHD 30Hz. It can also support up to 2-lane V-By-One input OSD source which can support up to QFHD
15Hz
The MR3 (MStar Retina Resolution Recovery) Engine featured in the MST6M40A can support best scale quality
from F-HD input source to Q-FHD. Moreover, the MST6M40A is capable of optimizing the panel with best displayquality and color saturation with individual RGB gamma correction.
By utilizing MStar 7th generation MFC technology, the MST6M40A realizes an optimum frame rate conversion to
meet the output display frame rate, a wide horizontal and vertical search range for QFHD input source, anddetects any cadences for best motion compensation. Moreover, the MST6M40A provides a clearer and halo-free
moving picture quality without motion blur or judder.
Armed with MStar Genuine3DPRO 2D/3D Conversion Engine, the MST6M40A provides an idealized 3D Video quality
output. Moreover, the MST6M40A provides an adjustable gain and depth tuning metholody for customerized 3Deffect.
For green power saving, the MST6M40A provides a local dimming control circuit. The dimming control range is 48
regions at maximum for horizontal, and 32 regions at maximum for vertical. The output interface could be SPIinterface or direct PWM output pin.
