MC06XS3517AFK Product Details

The NXP® 12XS3 eXtreme Switch Generation 3 12 V devices are SPI-controlled smart high side switches providing diagnostics for the switch, light source and wiring harness, as well as comprehensive fault management and control of the loads without complex software.

Programmable multi-steplatched overcurrent shutdown protection
Minimizes the thermal stress within the device during an overload condition, reducing the junction temperature rise and improving reliability
Packaged in a PQFN package and a SOICW-EP package
Low RDS(ON) and large integration enable savings in module size, power dissipation and total system cost

Feature

Operating voltage range of 6.0 V to 20 V with sleep current < 5.0 μA, extended mode from 4.0 V to 28 V.
8.0 MHz 16-bit 3.3 V and 5.0 V SPI control and status reporting with daisy-chain capability.
Smart overcurrent shutdown, severe short-circuit, overtemperature protection with time-limited auto retry, and Fail-safe mode in case of MCU damage.
PWM module with programmable outputs delay management.
Analog current and temperature feedback with selectable ratio.
Watchdog and fail-safe management.
