AD9162BBCAZ Product Details
Analog Devices AD9162BBCAZ 16-Bit Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) offer a high dynamic range, wide bandwidth, and 6GSPS data rate to support the most demanding high-speed RF applications. The AD9162BBCAZ DAC core has a quad-switch architecture with a 2x interpolator filter. The design enables the AD9162BBCAZ to deliver an effective DAC update rate up to 12GSPS. Baseband ModeWhen in baseband mode, AD9162BBCAZ supports DOCSIS 3.1 cable infrastructure compliance and operates from DC to 2.5GHz. A 2x Interpolator filter (FIR85) allows the AD9162BBCAZ DACs to operate at lower data rates and converter clocking. This reduces the overall system power and eases the filtering requirements. Mix-Mode When in mix-mode, the AD9162BBCAZ can reconstruct RF carriers in the 2nd and 3rd Nyquist zones up to 7.5GHz. The output current is programmable from 15mA to 40mA.Data InterfaceThe AD9162BBCAZ data interface features up to eight programmable JESD204B SERDES lanes for maximum design flexibility. AD9162's serial peripheral interface (SPI) configures the DAC and monitors the readback register status.
