7447 Product Details
The IC 7447 is used in digital electronics, particularly in the design of digital displays. It's a BCD (Binary Coded Decimal) to 7-segment latch/decoder/driver. The 7447 takes a 4-bit BCD input (Binary Coded Decimal, where a 4-bit binary number represents each decimal digit). It converts it into the necessary control signals to display the corresponding decimal digit on a 7-segment LED or display.
