Vicor Corporation was established in 1981, which are engaging in development, manufacturing and sales of power conversion components and systems. They also manufacture and sells complete configurable power systems, accessory products and custom power solutions, and permit certain rights to its technology in return for royalties. The headquarters is located in Andover, MA. Their main markets for power converters and systems are large original equipment manufacturers. The markets are include the communications, data processing, industrial control, test equipment, medical, military electronics and other fields. Their products line includes DC-DC converters, regulators, current multipliers, bus converters, DC-DC power systems, DC-DC filters, AC-DC power systems, AC-DC filters and front ends, power management, custom solutions, military COTS products. They have three distinct types of power components. The high-performance products are all work well with different power architectures. Their products can deliver with short development and delivery cycles all over the world. The products can be used in a wide variety of applications that require high efficiency, high power density, improved thermal management, low noise, fast transient response, and overall design flexibility. Vicor have received the ISO9001 certification and then their products are quickly available, economically priced and of high quality.
