PLX's products are available as standard off-the-shelf solutions which allow customers to bring their designs to market faster.

PLX's products are mainly used in Wireless communications, enterprise storage, wired infrastructure and industry. These include data center networks, home connectivity, set-top boxes, broadband access, telecommunications equipment, smartphones and base stations, data center servers and storage, factory automation, power generation and alternative energy systems, and electronics displays.
